FAQ
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
Sessions tend to fill quickly, especially during Spring and Fall. I recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure your preferred date and location. For special events such as military ceremonies, elopements, and branding sessions, booking earlier allows us to plan all the details that make your session truly tailed to you.
What should we wear for our session?
I always encourage clients to coordinate, not match. Once you book, you'll receive a style guide with tips and color palette inspiration to help you feel confident and photo-ready.
How long does it take to get our photos?
You'll receive your fully edited gallery within 2-3 weeks after your session. After hand-editing each image carefully, you'll receive a private online gallery where you can download and share your images.
Do you travel or photograph outside the DMV area?
Yes! While I'm based in Alexandria, Virginia, and serve the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia area, I'm happt to travel for elopements, ceremonies, or branding sessions. Travel fees vary depending on distance and location, just mention your destination when inquiring, and I'll include details in your custom quote.
What happens if we need to reschedule or if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Life happens and the weather in the DMV can be unpredictable! If we encounter rain, high winds, or unsafe conditions, I'll reach out to discuss rescheduling or a backup plan. Overcast skies photograph beautifully, so sessions continue as planned unless weather truly interferes. For family and portrait sessions, I offer one complimentary reschedule with at least a 72 hour notice.
